Cook with me : Homemade Caramel Sauce Trick

Did ya know that if you boil cans of condensed milk for about up to 2 hours you have Homemade Caramel Sauce?

That's exactly what I did. You can find directions for this condensed milk trick all over the net. Just be careful when you do decide to try this, the cans can explode if you don't follow the directions carefully.

It's up to you on what consistency you want your caramel sauce to be . The version I did is like a Dulce de Leche type. I made some Chocolate Cupcakes... removed a bit of the middle and and poured in some caramel sauce ... the cupcakes soaked up the sauce giving you a sweet caramel cupcake. I topped with Vanilla Icing and toasted some Coconut for garnish.

These tasted amazing!!! The caramel sauce I drizzled on top as well and tasted so good!!!!! Love this!!

Give it a try ladies... this sauce can be use in many ways than one, try it on fruit :)

I saw some new products like the ever so popular at the moment 24 Hour Shadows that has everyone talking and the new Wet n Wild Lippies that are actually pretty nice. All super affordable and apply beautifully.

Fitness Post- Out with the old, in with the new.

With the Holidays here, there's one thing that actually been on my mind..... Holiday Weight gain! Yikes!!!! Who want's that?? So weird that I'm 6 Pounds heavier than last year... haven't done anything different. I don't engorge in Junk Food...wth! Hmmm that's why I had to put myself in check, like stat!

With the cold season being here and all, I'm not able to run outside like I would... so a little weight gain makes sense, BUT let's just say I'm going to fix that little issue.

Let's just say after losing 35 pounds in the last 2 years, every pound counts because I'm not about to take a step backward. I worked way to hard to get to where I am so with that said time to put in more work!

The Plan:

I started counting my calorie intake using a neat app that's super awesome. You can find a lot of them under the Fitness category.

I workout in the gym more a couple of times a week for 90 Minuets each time. Love Running so treadmill is a must... I mix it up with other cardio machines so my workout doesn't get boring.

Next my water intake has been increased.... with a cup of Green Tea 3x a Day.

Morning I eat a Grapefruit, or Oatmeal with Berries. Lunch I like to eat a lot more Greens and Lean Chicken... depends on my mood. I will say one thing.... anything fried, I'm not eating.. nope! Junk Food,... I'm picky about this.. once a week maybe a cookie or something but I like Sugar Free Jello for now.

Dinner.... I'm measuring everything. When I eat I started using a measuring cup. So when I eat rice for example I will eat a half cup and a whole cup of veggies with some sort of meat.

I'm working on my goal... Lose at least 10 pounds but most important, I want to tone. I want to at least do that. Healthy Lifestyle is what I want to aim for. Working out is more than just losing weight, it makes you feel great, upbeat, energetic and Happy. When you workout you release endorphins which puts you in a great mood :)

I'm 5'7 with a BMI of 23 which is pretty Healthy but there's always room for improvement.... Let's see what happens in month. Will mos def follow up.

This is just my plan..... what do you do?? suggestions?

If you know me, you know how much love I have for this woman... been a huge fan for the longest time. The Fly Girl with the dark hair, light skin and the cow patten coat... LOVE the beautiful Jennifer Lopez. I understand many people have many opinions about her BUT I don't really care..... Love JLo. She is a fashion staple, who's known for her glow, curves and moves. She has come a long and if you like her or not she's here to stay.

Her fashion sense has motivated me throughout the years, not to forget that hot bod! She's a Beautiful individual and I will always support her.

Often when I do my make up I like to use her pictures as motivation. Now I understand she uses some of the best makeup artist in the industry (Scott Barnes...etc) but I really love to study her features... her cheek bones, her beautiful eye's... these artist have a beautiful canvas to work on ah la Lopez.

I think I'm going to come up with some make up looks soon, dedicated to my girl Jennifer Lopez... I did do a couple in the past if you haven't seen.

Love winter as much as I love summer, for a couple of reasons actually... snowboarding,snuggling, and well blow drying my hair without breaking a sweat.. Duh lol. Feel me girls?

I want to tell you about a blow dryer that makes my life a little easier when getting ready.

I actually been wearing my hair in my natural waves a lot lately, which require just a little shine oil and just blow dry. I had had a opportunity to review the Hana Air Professional Hair Dryer from Misikko Which I would love to tell you all about today since I'm really Happy with it.

First, I really want to say that I'm loving the packaging of this product. First impression is everything so when the dryer arrived to my house and I opened it up I was not excepting such an awesome display but they really do go all out for their customer's. Everything was wrapped nicely and they added a few extras which I thought was really nice of them. Misikko really puts in a lot of effort when sending out a package. Love how unique it is, never seen a company do this before.

I had a chanced to use this for a while now, actually it has become apart of my daily routine. I even take it to the gym so I can blow dry my hair after I shower. Anywho....

I like the sound of that!

I is my go to dryer and I can now throw my old dryer away! Hated that thing anyway! This Hana Air Professional Dryer dried my hair way faster than I thought! Yay! That's what I'm talking about, a dryer that gets the job done quickly is really appreciated! When using the dryer I didn't have a problem with hand/arm fatigue... it's pretty light. I ran some Hana Shine Shield through my hair before I dried it with the Hanna Dryer and my hair looked pretty, soft, and left a nice shine,plus it was frizz free. This is a dryer is awesome, just what I'm looking for. You can defiantly tell the difference in hair texture when I used this dryer. My hair had a healthy look to it afterward.

Crazy about Wet n Wild's New Matte Palette!

Hello my make up loving Beauties! I know you guys know all about the new WnW Palette called "I <3 Matte"? Omg, this hard to find palette features 8 Matte colors that are pigmented and true to color.

This palette is featured at selected walgreens, hence why it makes it hard to find. I found that a bit odd but if you can find this lovely little palette it's worth purchasing . I'm a huge fan of matte colors so I was super excited to find this baby.

WnW has improved so much throughout the years, I find some of their make up to be way better than some prestige brands that I own.

This palette is bit chalky like the other WnW 8 pan's, but because they're truly pigmented, this doesn't bug me at all. Not really sure if this palette will be sticking around in stores or not but mos defiantly worth adding to your collection.

The new Holiday palettes are out too.... would you like a Blog post on that as well?????? Let me know. :)

Rihanna Make up... Oldie but goodie! (Affordable Makeup)

Here I am browsing online.... Lalalala (Browsing) and this Beautiful picture of Rihanna and her bright pink Lips and dark navy blue cat eye caught my attention. oooooh lala, loving that look! Now it's not a new look that she has sported recently or anything like that, it's a oldie but goodie that's for sure.

I decided to crack the whip and give it a try! Now it's not going to be exactly like Rihanna's but it was mos def inspired by the beautiful gal. I love her Make up looks, she always has some dope combination going on. From bold Lips, to colorful shadow... The Girl is always on point!

Simple look, it's all about winged eyeliner with a splash of Navy to add to the effect and bright lips. I personally love it.

So you know I wanted to try that out.... soooooo, take a look....

Everthing used to create this simple look was totally affordable. I use NYX a lot, the quality is great and the price is right. WetnWild is also a great brand that's not to be overlooked. Cheap in price and the quality is great!

Think Pink! In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As we all know the Month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I truly support and donate to help those who have been affected by cancer, along with the thousands that are diagnosed every year.

With help and your donation, it's a step closer to kicking Breast Cancer in the Butt!

With that said, how I contributed to this cause this year by donating money at Ulta. The proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research foundation. Through out their store, they have pink products that you can purchase as well. The proceeds will also be donated to the foundation as well.

There are many ways you can donate and help out in support in taking strides against Breast Cancer. How will you help?

The month of October is very special to me and my dear family. My Grandmother was effected by this cancer as well as my own Mother. My Mother is a Breast Cancer survivor I am Happy to report!

Her courage while going though the process is something that can't be put into words. I look at her and think how grateful I am to be her oldest daughter and to have her in my life. She's Strong, Beautiful and has the determination of no other.

This year, in honor and support of my Mother and those who have been effected by this cancer, I walk for YOU!

Thousands will come together here in Chicago, to walk in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. This event is celebrates Hope to end Breast Cancer and save lives.

Halloween Ideal, inexpensive approach

So the other day I was inspired and astonished by the Beautiful Rocio, a Photographer with amazing skills and vision that I absolutely adore. I saw her in this half "Sugar Skull" half Glam look that blew my mind! She looked amazing! With all the inspiration around me, I decided to go ahead and give it a try.

Everything used were make up products I already had in my collection such as NXY, Milani, and the Coastal Scents 88 Palette.

Throw on a Lace Top, and Accessories and you have a look to sport on Halloween. The only Item purchased was the Gold Flower, and it was only a Buck at Walgreens!

Hello Gorgeous , hope all is well? Happy Sunday! Just wanted to share a few things with my amazing Blog/Vlog buddies.

So many cute and amazing products have been popping up in stores. I also tried a product that I have come to love and wondered why the heck I never tried! Any who... let's get to it!

L"oreal came out with a collection featuring new palettes, Lippies, Nail Polish and Blushes.... I had to check those out for sure! ......by the way they're limited edition so hurry!

Love the Pigmentation .....so pretty! Check them out at your drug store.

oooo so I don't forget to mention The Hello Flawless Powder Foundation is my new Favorite! This Powder is amazing I must add. I just love the way my skin felt after using it, super silky!!!! I don't want to use Liquid foundation all the time so I decided to try this and I have to say it did the job! Yay!

The L'oreal Blushes in the collection are so awesome! The Pan is huge!!!! This one is a nice Peachy pink!!! Payoff is great by the way, blendable and loved the packaging!!!

This Lippie is a perfect everyday lip color!!! I absolutely love the creamy formula and payoff!! Tho, it I had to reapply a few times through out the day I still love it. This collection is one you must see for yourself ladies!

Quick Post: Smashbox Softbox Eye Palette

A While back the Make up Show came into Town. Glad to see SmashBox there, if you didn't know they're one of my Top Brands that I adore!

That's where I saw the Smashbox SoftBox Eye Palette. Pretty Colors, Soft colors at that. I love how velvety these shadows felt on the lid. Came with two Liners as well. This nifty palette is perfect for Day and Night. Came with a Brush tho I'm picky I will opt for my own. I like the Dark but yet not to dark colors in this Palette, super Blendable.

The Balm/NYX Eyeshadow Base

It's not everyday you find a deal on Awesome High end Make up. After browsing around Marshalls one afternoon I came across two palettes sitting on a shelf that appeared to be The Balm. Talk about being at the right place at the right time! WOOOHOOO! they're mine!

I found Two Palettes for cheap, I'm talking way cheaper then the original price!!!! The Two that I found are...

The Balm Shady Lady Vol. 3 Palette and the The Balm Big Mama Palette

The Shady Lady Palette consist of 9 shimmer shadows that are Pigmented to the T. What made me fall in love with this palette was the fact that they blend beautifully. The Colors are really pretty and when applying to the lid appeared to be hardly any fallout. The Packaging is what gets me every time with The Balm . A lot of their Palettes features that old time feel with pinup Dolls and Awesome Names to showcase their Make up. I love that!

The Pigmentation is great and lasted on the Lid all Day with a Primer. So far so good!

The Big Mama Palette I enjoy a whole lot! This Portable Palette features A nifty little Trio of Blush/Bronzer and Powder.

Bahama Mama Bronzer is a great Bronzer for my complexion, not to Dark and not to light just right. Pigmented and super bendable it's perfect for everyday.
Hot Mama Blush is a cross between a Peach/pink with a shimmer that truly reminds me of those Nars Blushes. When applied to my cheeks it gave off the perfect everyday glow that just makes me fall in love with this palette over and over. I LOVE THIS PALETTE!!!!!!!
Sexy Mama is a Translucent Powder that perfect for when the shine comes on. You know what I mean. This Powder sets well too.

This Trio Palette has to be by far my Favorite all in one palette of the moment. Its portable and the payoff is well worth it.

The Balm is mos def the Bomb. Glad I had the opportunity to try these products for half the Price. Never know what you find when you're at Marshalls huh!

One last thing before I go.....

NYX Eyeshadow Skin Tone Base

I needed a Base other then the Mac one I'm using now so I decided to try out the one from NYX . This Skin tone color Base works out real well for me. I love that it really did help my Eyeshadow stay put but not only that it made the colors on my lid pop! Job well done and affordable too! Me Likey!

Quick Post : e.l.f. Pink Passion Blush

I was looking through my Blushes and wanted to use something I haven't used . I bought some Blushes a while back from e.l.f. and totally neglected this pretty pink color called "Pink Passion" how dare I !

When I origanally bought this blush, tho it's pretty I thought it would be to light for my skin tone or just look plain weird on me. Well geez I was wrong. Getting ready one day I whipped out this blush and decided to just wear it. Now I'm glad that I did, I'm loving this color blush on me! So pretty on my skin. I love how it gave my cheaks that pretty pink flushed look.

Pink Passion by e.l.f is what I'm wearing these past couple of days. Affordable for sure, I think these e.l.f. Blushes cost about 3 bucks from the studio line.

Pretty in Pink indeed. I shall post some looks with this blush in a couple of Days. See you girls soon :)

5k to start

Running, I think I started 3 years back on the Treadmill for an hour a Day. The whole purpose was to lose weight which with running it seem to come off quickly. Now in the present I'm trying to take it a little more seriously in terms of joining Running events to keep me motivated and going. Being that I had put back at least 8 pounds for slacking off (ugh , I know,,,not to happy about it) time to do something about it instead of complaining.

I've been going back int to my DAILY exercising to start. I've been working out nonstop for two weeks every single Day. My exercise regumine consist of Running, Elliptical , Lite weights, Crunches and Jillians Videos. I rotate all these during the week but getting into the Habit of Running every single Day.

Now I did a lot exercise before but not as much as I'm doing now. This will be my Habit for the rest of my life. I didn't lose 35 pounds on my own for nothing so I gotta work off what I put on. It's not as easy but my mind frame is you work for what you want. Results happen when you work and knowing me I'm always ready to work. I'm a busy girl myself and well I just have to make time, which currently during a working week I work out for an hour Running. Weekends I switched it up and Throw in other exercises and Swimming and workout a lot longer.

No results yet, but It's expected because it's only been two weeks of consistent exercising, the results come later and as long as I put in the work. I'm no where I wanna be which at least (130 pounds). Close but not close enough so work has to be done.

I'm a tall girl (5'7) so any thinner then that I wouldn't be comfortable with. Now the 5k..... I'm really determined to take Running a little more seriously. I love it... there's something about Running outside just hitting that pavement and just go.

I absolutely love it, not only will it give me the results I'm seeking for but it helps me relief stress and makes me feel so good afterward. I'm becoming a Running Addict lol runners out there you know what I mean. Running Burn Calories, and has so many benefits.

Right Now I'm gunning for over 4 Miles per a Day. Yesterday's Run was 4.42 Miles. I felt like I could have kept going but with sundown approaching had to cut it short.

My goal right now it to

Improve Milage- I want to run longer.
Improve my Time a mile shouldn't take loner then 13 min, people run a mile in less time
Aim for a Future Half Marathon then full marathon

I recently signed up for a 5k (3 miles) as my motivation. Currently I run more then 3 miles Daily but this one is for a great cause. It for the Breast Cancer foundation. I'm Running for a speacial person in my life so this ones for her!

A 10k is next and well the more I run and become better at it, the more I improve and keep doing other events. I plan on blogging about my journey , maybe it will help motivate others and get out there and run?

I'm no where where I want to be fitness/running wise but I know with dedication and patience and hard work I will be.

Goals..... I'm so dedicated to them it bothers me if i don't achieve em. I'm the type of person who wants more and more and willing to work. I'm willing to do this for myself.

well I invite you on my Journey ..... this one will be big for me mentally and physically because I want it. I'm no expert but all I know is do what you love.

Shine, oily mess.... ewww , who want's that? You don't have to walk around with that shine any more Ladies, I come across a product that's actually been around for a long time now, just under a different name.

Know who Skindinavia is???? They have a great line of setting and oil control sprays that been around for a while. I use to see their Products all the time at Ulta. I have tried their setting spray and loved it. Back then their packaging was a different color, now it's black I believe . Now that their off the shelf's at my Ulta, my Ulta Gal told me that Skindinavia had partnered up with Urban Decay and sold their formula to them to bring you great setting and Oil Control Sprays.

Thank you Skindinavia for bring your magic potion to Urban Decay because I was wondering why I haven't seen that Label around.

De Slick was born, and ladies this Spray is Great!!!!! I'm absolutely in love with it's matte abilities!

Urban Decay has a couple of sprays out but this is the only one I have actually tried and really can't get enough of it.

Just apply 2-4 Mist before foundation and after Make up application. This oil control Make up setting spray keeps your Make up on and oil at bay. This spray is perfect in the summer and keeps your face matte all day long. I simply spray this on my face and I can literally come home from work and my skin will still be matte.

So if oily skin is your issue then this spray is your answer, well it was for me anyway. I love this Spray! Yay UD for getting on the band wagon! woohoo!!!! Can't wait to try others.

Well ladies, I fell in love with this product, maybe you will too???

Ruby Kisses Eyeshadow and All over Glow Bronzing Powder.

When I attended the Make up Show here in Chicago a while ago, I received a Gift Bag full of Goodies from "Ruby Kisses . Wow! They were so generous with their products, it was like X mas all over again :) In the cute pink bag filled with Glitter speckled wrapping tissue laid a numerous amounts of Products that I have come to like.

Lips Gloss, Bronzer, Shadow, and more from RUBY KISSES I will like to share with my gal pals.

Now I'm going to break the Review in a Couple of Sections just so that I don't have so much going on in a Blog post all at once. I'm going to show the Ruby Kisses all over Glow and The 2 of the Eye Duo's in Almond Butter and Banana Cake and Purple Frosting.

First up is the "All over Glow Bronzer"

This Bronzer is a Great product. The Glow that you can achieve with this is something to look forward to. The all over body Bronzer is perfect for Face and Body. Blendable, long lasting and not chalky by any means. I loved it!! J Lo Glow ..... Yes, and you know I love my J Lo lol I love the milled speck of Gold in there, very pretty and great for summer. Bronze away ladies!!!!!!

Next the Duo's in Almond Butter and Banana Cupcake with Purple Frosting.

These Little Duo's have grown on me!!!!! Almond butter with is nice Frosty and Bronzed Eyeshadow .
The Banana Cupcake with Purple Frosting is a Gold and Purple Eyeshadow. Both Very Pretty, blendable and Perfect for everyday. I say this because the Almond Butter I use a lot for Daytime looks, while the other isn't overly pigmented for Daytime too. I love how pretty they are. The Purple and deep Tan Color are Sheer, great for Highlight and Daytime and the Gold and Bronzed Color are more pigmented. I hardly got any fall out and with a good base they should last a while on the lid.

I mos def want to try out more of these. I like the packaging , you can throw them in the bag and the case fully protects them so now broken shadow, ooooh yeah!!!! Like that!

I've been doing a little Project this summer as well called, "Project Get Fit" this Summer. So I've been Biking, Swimming and of Course Running! Jillian Michaels workouts are always fun and well, the whole point of this is to make it a lifestyle as a whole. My entire Family is active so it's important I do my part as well.

Anyone want to join in on it , let me know!? This is fun , don't think of it as a "Workout" just something you do for yourself. Nothing but good will come out of it. Gotta Work for results and thats exactly what I'm doing.

Mom got me a cool little Fuel Belt perfect for my Runs or Biking.

If your like me, I can't stand having Keys in my hand or holding water bottle while I run or Bike... ugh! So this Fuel Belt is exactly what I need. Comes in a Variety of colors, secure and mine come with two water bottles and a pouch. Lite weight, doesn't bounce and adjustable . LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's been a lot of Buzz about the ever so hard to find in stores for the moment Milani Paint Palette. When I had the opportunity to try one out I was definitely excited about trying out the pretty little palette. The 7 color Palette is a nice, portable , bright Neon little number perfect for summer.

Clear Compact Type lid to reveal the ever so Bright Neon Matte Summer Colors. Perfect for Summer and will catch peoples attention for sure. Everything we want in a Summer ish palette. Blendable so you can create a number of looks with this.

A little closer look at the Palette reveals 7 Beautiful Colors with a fair payoff. A little Chalky in my opinion, but not as bad as other palettes I've seen. Also would you really call this wheel a "Palette"?? ummm just saying, sounds weird to me because it's not your typical Palette. Anywho, Pigmentation is Fair, you will need a base under these shadow thats for sure.

Absolutely Love these Nail Lacquer. I loved how wide the Brush is and how opaque the Yellow and Blue went on with one stroke . These Nail Lacquer really do dry super fast!!! Perfect for my impatient butt! LOL . Dries in 60 sec flat! woot !!! yeah! I like that!

HD Powders... I love using em!

HD Powders, if you're into them or not, they have become my go to set and forget it part of my Make up Routine.

With so many different HD Powders out there in the Market, I myself was wondering which will work the best for myself ??? hmmmm that's a good question! I use 2 of out these 3 Constantly with a new one (#3) in mind.

Smashbox- Photoset Finishing Powder with SPF 15(Favorite) This silica based is my Favorite Powder that I absolutely love. The Matte Powder absorbs oil, long lasting and leaves the skin smooth and oil free for hours. Smashbox is one of my favorite brands so I knew this powder would work great! BTW it has SPF so it will help in the aide of protecting your skin. Great!
IT COSMETCS Bye Bye Pores Poreless Finish HD Micro powder- I've used this powder for a while now, if I'm not using smashbox I'm basically using this baby right here. I place this Powder right over my Foundation and it basically smooths out the skin, giving you a nice airbrush finish. It's irritant free for those with sensitive skin like myself, and it has Vitamins. I totally recommend this !
RUBY KISSES HD SET N'FORGET HD SETTING POWDER- Available in four shades this 100% silica powder claims to give you a glow, soften imperfections and keeps the skin matte. I'm going to need to use this product a little more before I give you my true opinion on it. I shall keep you posted! :)

These Two Products are pretty Awesome. The fact that both are pretty portable actually won me over. I love the Glow you can achieve with the Too faced Palette and I'm Loving the Bag you score with the Cargo Collection.

This Palette is Lovely!!! Love each and every Shade in this Palette! I love how well they Blend and the Glow afterward it's J Lo Worthy :)

On my B Day I got this wonderful surprise! Now that's a Cake! OMG !! This Red Velvet cake was stunning, I absolutely loved it. Everything on it was edible ...look at it!! So cute!!!!

I was absolutely blown away by this cake.... it could feed an army, you can't tell from the pic but it was huge!

The B Day outfit.....

I took a basic black Jumpsuit from forever 21 and i Paired it with a Snake skin belt, accessories and some cute black mid heel sandals. This outfit was perfect and airy! A 15 Dollar Jumpsuit, all you have to do is jazz it up!

PMD -Personal Microderm Review

Smooth, Glowing Skin is something I always look forward to. J Lo sure knows how to rock that perfect Glow and us Gals can too!! Learning Makeup Techniques is one thing, but we must take care of what's underneath that Makeup, our Skin!!! Although professional Facials and Microdermabrasion can be costly, I found a perfect at Home solution!

I had the opportunity to try out an Awesome Home Microdermabrasion System. This Affordable system is equivalent to the Microdermabrasion Tools they use at your Dermatologist Office, except with your own personal system you don't have to worry about how costly Derm/Spa Visits are. You save money, and you get the same effective results with this system right at Home. !!!

Love the sound of that! The whole ideal of this is to achieve the smooth Skin you want without spending a whole lot of money on treatments.

The Personal Microdermabrasion System exfoliates the skin, getting rid of the dead, dull skin that lays on the top surface. This system minimizes blemish, wrinkles, acne scars and all that stuff we want to avoid when it comes to our skin.

The main reason why I was excited to try this out is because tho I don't have constant acne issues I do break out from time to time. With that said, the breakouts leave Acne scars on my sensitive skin and this system is suppose to be great for this issue. If you have issues with Dry Skin, this can be of great use to you, knocking out the dead skin cells.

Whats included in the System

Personal Microderm System
6 Exfoliating Disc (2 Green, 4 Blue) Large Disc for Elbows and Chest, Small Disc for hard to get to areas such as around the Nose and around lips.
2 Caps(This Controls the Suction of the System)
Power Cord
Instruction DVD
1 reusable filter

It also came with 2 samples of M2 Skin Refinish and Skin recovery Moisturizer.
The Skin Refinish and Moisturizer work well with the system and go side by side. I recommend buying the full bottles of this since only samples were given.

Before using the system it's wise to watch the Instruction DVD, this will help you get the best use out of your system and teach you how to clean your Personal Microderm System as well.

I found the DVD easy to follow and extremely useful. You want to test your skin type before using this system, you don't want to end up with irritated skin so test your system before full use on face/body.

Over all:

The System was easy to control and use. The system when in use acts like a suction on your skin removing dead skin cell as you roll the system across the surface of your skin.

The Disc are what help get rid of the dead skin cells. The System comes with 6 Discs that are coated with aluminum oxide crystals that exfoliate and buff the skin , helping you achieve that awesome , glowing smooth look.

The Large Disc are for areas such as elbow and knees and the Smaller ones are for hard to get to areas such as around the nose and mouth. The Disc are Color coded, Blue for sensitive skin, Green for tough skin.   I used the Blue Disc and worked my way up to the Green Disc once I felt comfortable with the system. The more you use the system, the more the "Grit"(Grit is basically the scrubbing particles on the pad) will lose it effect so you will need to buy more Discs in the Future depending on how often you use the system.

You control the suction with the tips that are provided. The larger tip for greater suction and the small tip for limited suction on an area of the Skin.

When I used this Personal Microderm System on my face I was a little pulled back by the suction once I placed it on my skin, kinda tickled lol   The cap suctions right on your face/body and you basically hover over your skin in back and forth motions while the system removes the dead skin cells. The Suctioning left my skin a little red but it subsided after a few minutes so no big deal.

I have been using this system and honestly it works really well. I love how my skin felt after each use. The PMD System made my face Smoother, which really helped my foundation application so I'm please with that. I want to use it more on my post acne scares, but I can say so far so good, I see a difference in my skin. I'm hoping if I keep using it they will minimize the scares completely.

I wish it came with more Discs, you will need to get more replacements depending on how often you use the system.

Its a good System over all, does the Job and you get Spa results without having to spend so much money . Once you get use to using the system ,your all set. I would recommend this to those who are interested.

So, I wanted to do a post on my" Everyday go to products of the moment". These are products that I just can't live without and use on a daily basis. I know everyone has their love in everyday products.
During the Week, I'm a foundation, powder, lip gloss, mascara kinda girl, but there many I use every single day and I wanted to share some of my Favorite everyday products with you!

Neutrogen Skin Clearing Foundation in Honey Beige. Been using this for years! Love it!
L'oreal 814 Forever Frappe, this is the one J-LO uses supposedly. I must say, I am in love with this Lippies. I must get backups!!
Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion....I use this on the water line.
Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Smitten.
L'oreal Voluminous Mascara, my lashes love this stuff!!!

Mark by Avon sure has come a long way. The Products just seem to become better and better as the years go on. I was intrigued by one product in particular. Illuminating Powder in Amped up.

I love this product because not only is it affordable (Retails $12.00) but this Powder lays on the skin nicely, leaving a Glowy touch. I would say this product would be a great candidate for giving you that " J Lo Glow". The Powder gives off this bronzed Sun kissed touch with specks of Gold to keep you Glowing. I really think a backup of this is essential, yes I love this that much lol

You can find this Product from your Avon Rep or online. I'm really enjoying this Product, it Fabulous.

Hola Ladies!

The Spring is here and it's time to bust out the workout to get the Body ready for Summer!!! I run a lot but I'm kinda getting bored with the treadmill, tho I love it I wanted to mix it up, so the body doesn't become use to the same ol thing.

I've been looking at reviews and Youtube Videos lately about the Jillain Michaels 30 Day Shred and it looks Promising!

Being a Big Fan of Jillian, ( you know the awesome chick from Biggest Loser) I trust her words and advice!

That's 30 Days of intense workouts that promises results! I decided to give it a try!

I already started this Workout March 22 so Today I'm going on Day 5. I will say this, it's No Joke! There's no breaks in this Video, 20 Min each Day of intense moves using weights. Jillian Targets all the areas, abs, things, butt, legs .... everything!!!!

20 Min Workouts

starts with 2 min warm ups
3 6 min circuits with Jillian 3-2-1 Intervals meaning

3 Min of Strength
2 min of Cardio
1 min of abs

and one 2 min cool down

The intervals are what keeps the body guessing!!! Love this!

You will sweat, you will cry, you will want to give up but with Jillian there's something about this video that just keep me going. Jillian totally motivates me, and the fact that throughout the whole video she keeps you pumped, I can't ask for a better workout!

FYI it's just real hard to get off, worth wearing tho!

Picked up a couple of things from MAC a week ago..... Paint Pot in Bare Study and Concealer in NC35. Perfect Concealer for my skin tone, the coverage is amazing! The Girls at the Mac I got to are the best! Love them!!!! So nice!!!!

Going to a Wedding in Florida in June and I saw this Dress!!! I totally want it!!

I'm at it again with the J Lo inspired Makeup looks, can you blame me??? The Diva sure is a trend setting Queen. I don't know if you had the chance to see her new music video with pitbull "On the Floor" but it's pretty damn awesome.

Here's the Look

I'm constantly blown away by her Beauty time and time again. She really did it up in that Video, ppffft come on it's Jlo!!!

I wanted to do something along the lines of that look. I fell in love with it. Pretty easy as well

Matte Brown Eyeshadow
Matte Cream beige Eeyshadow
Lashes Top/Bottom
Smoke out the eyes with a cream liner and then pencil on the water line
White shimmer on the inside corners of the eye
mascara
And wing out the outside crease and bit and there you have it :)

It's not going to be exactly the same, but it sure was inspired by this Video. I loved how it came out.

J LO Makeup/Jomakemeblush/New Lippies

For many who know a little about me, I'm a avid J LO Fan. I love that woman! Her Style, Glow, Dance Moves and business mentality got it going on!

Now, I plan on doing a few J LO inspired Looks. I might not look like that wonderful Diva, but I sure wanted to create a couple of looks inspired from her makeup throughout out the years.

I sure loved this sophisticated look that Jennifer has going on in that pic. My goodness her beauty is breath taking. Her eyes seem to just pop with prettiness. I love how the color complimented her skin tone. Lets not forget her famous "Glow". Gorgeous, why yes she is!

Lets take a look...

I used a couple of Grey and Blue eyehshadows from a smash box palette I have, as well as some Urban decay Liners in a grayish tone. Smoked it with bit of blue shadow as well. I played up the lashes adding more coats of mascara, a dusting of E.L.F highlighter over the nose and above the cheeks and a pink/coral lippie.

Now my version may not look exactly the same, but then again J Lo look inspired the one I did. In person you must see, it looked awesome! My iphone cam didn't do it any sort of justice ....sigh! All good I had fun doing it :)

Meet and Greet Chicago 2011 with the lovely Jomakemeblush

I had the most Amazing time at the Chicago meet and greet!!! OMG Love those gals!!! We chatted away at dinner, and ended the night at Butterfly Lounge. It was a great seeing Jo, felt like I've known her forever!!! Shes so cute!!! Jo, Kat, Gaby, Rosa, Aziajs, and Tamara are so wonderful!!! Omg it was so comfy being around these girls! I felt like we been friends for the longest time. Mos def, Friendships that will last a lifetime!!! Love them!!! I love how we all shared a common bond for the love of Beauty, each one inspired me in their own way! Love u girls!!

Demi Lovato Inspired Look

HELLO!!! HELLO!! HELLO!!! A BIG HELLO TO ALL MY BEAUTIFUL NERDS!!!

Well, I did a look today as requested by one of my Subbies/Followers and I was just so happy to do this look. The Look is an inspired look featured on the Beautiful Miss Demi Lovato.

Demi Lovato looked features a semi smokey teal eye that just made her brown eyes just gleam with gorgeousness!!!! Super easy to do and well ladies your eyes will just pop with prettiness.

Now by the pic featured below, it was hard to tell if her teal lid was smoked with a Grey or a light brown so i opted for a Light brown that had a Grey ashy vibe to it.

Liner, lashes, and some teals/blues and your done!!!

Please note that the look was inspired by her, and I'm not going to look exactly the same.

My pics were taken with my cam and iphone so quality will defer.

Nike Has my Heart

Ladies, it me again! hehe..... If you been following my Blog for a while then you already know how big of a Nike lover I' am . I swear, half of my wardrobe consist of Nike workout gear. My Kicks, all Nike of course. My arm sweat bands and head bands, all Nike. My Socks, Sport Bra's, Bags, flip flops Jackets.... all Nike. LOL I'm sure you ladies get the point.

I love that Nike is a reliable brand. Not only that, when it comes to kicks and Clothes , they know how to style it up with fun colors and design.

I'm a girl who lives in kicks about 80% of the time. When I work out, I rely on my Nike gear for sure.

I use a Nike + sensor/program that I use for Running, along with a Nike App. on my iphone! Keeps me motivated and ready to run.

The other Day, I went on a Nike Shopping spree and picked me up a few things. Lets check it out.....

Hello Ladies! I'm back with another post!! This one I'm truly excited about and hope that will be as informative to you as well.

Interested in Airbrush Makeup???? Then this post is for you!

Today I want to tell all of you about this awesome Airbrush System that is very easy and fun to use. I've been so curious about airbrush makeup that I really wanted to use a System I could use on myself and clients that was easy, affordable, fast and well a good portable system period.

I love how Airbrush makeup looks so clean and Natural. Airbrush makeup can easily diminish all sorts of skin issue, which made me consider wanting to use the airbrush method even more.

I came across the Luminess Air website and was intrigued by this system. Their website has all sorts of airbrush makeup and systems you could ever want. Not only is the Website easy to navigate, it offered all the information that you need for the curious buyer. Major plus if you're a newbie like myself.

What I do know about Airbrush Makeup is, it helps in the aide of achieving a flawless finish. Well.... that pretty much sounds good to me!!!!

When I received my Package, everything was packed neatly and secured. The Machine it self was packed nicely inside a medium sized box and with everything you need to create and airbrush look packed inside around it.

I love their Logo, it displays a Butterfly... (Vanessa means Butterfly hehe, like that!) The logo to me gave of this clean, crisp feeling. I like that a lot, I feel that a logo does tie in with first impressions on a product. As I started scoping the product out, I actually felt confident about using it. I know some people would easily shy away from products that look to complicated but this one didn't give off that impression.

The Stylus

The Stylus is pretty easy to use.

I really love the instruction booklet that comes with this system. Its so easy to read and the "How to" instructions are so easy to follow. The booklets offers tons of "How to" Pictures and what you should and shouldn't do when using this Product. It also teaches you how to you the different makeup options as well. There's also a section on how to clean your Stylus, big help in keeping your investment in tip top shape. The System comes with a DVD as well that teaches you everything you need to know about using your system and achieving great results with it.

The key is to keep the Stylus moving when applying the Make up, this is how you achieve that airbrushed perfect look.

The Makeup

The Kit that I have came with a Airbrush Cosmetic Starter Kit. Inside housed

4 Ultra Foundations all suited for my Medium Skin tone
Blush (2n)
Bronzer (P3)
Moisturizer/Primer (M1)
Brightening Glow (G1)

When using any of these formulas, make sure you shake them for 5-10 secs.... if you don't your make up application wont come out as well.

The Foundations are pretty sheer, you can build your coverage to your liking which I appreciate. The Ultra Foundation is Mineral based and oil free, that's good news considering I'm super picky when it comes to putting anything on my skin. Foundation is perfect for everyday use, so get to airbrushing lol

I found that if your having problems choosing what shades will be your perfect match there's a product consultant that can help or you can just visit the site to find your match.

To me it was pretty easy, what I did was added a few Sprays of each of the foundation shades that was provided in my kit and used the one that pretty much blended into my skin. If you have a hard time matching feel free to customize for your perfect match.

When using the System I found it to be extremely easy. Basically it took 3 Steps.

Turn on compressor
Add few drops of of the foundation to your Stylus
Get to Airbrushing...keep the Stylus moving

That's Basically it. I loved using it. I found that it took more then a couple of drops for the coverage I needed. The Compressor wasn't as loud as I thought it was doing to be, which is a major plus. I was kind of worried about that.

I love everything you can do with this system, you can even use it on the body, not just the face.
When using it, I can really see the difference. Everything looked so natural. The Makeup dried quickly, you don't really have to set it with a powder but I chose to since I have oily skin.

With this system, blending is effortless. I LOVE THAT!!!! No Lines at all!!!

Everything is portable, easy and fun to use. !!

Gulp!!! I was debating about putting my before pic on here... but you know, I really want you to see the difference.

My Aunt participated too!!! WOW!!!!!! LOOK AT THAT!

Likes:

The System is totally portable , put it in it's clutch and your ready to go.
Application time took a matter of less then 10 Min.
Easy to use, the Instruction booklet was such a big help along with the DVD
Cleaning the System was so easy, by just using a few drops of water in the bottle provided
My Skin looked amazing after the application. Smooth and Natural!
Affordable for anyone interested in Airbrushed Makeup
Website is easy to Navigate and tons of makeup options to choose from

Dislikes:

The tubing connected to the Stylus is real delicate, you have to be real careful that it doesn't get punctured.

Can be used for everyday which is great, but you will go through a bottle of foundation quickly. adding drops at a time adds up.

Those are my only Complaints. I didn't find much wrong with this system. It did what it was suppose to do and I'm very much happy with the results. I tried this system on my Aunt and Myself and I was blown away by the results!!!!!

Would I recommend this to my followers. YES! It will make up change the way you apply your Makeup!!! This system is easy on the skin and easy to use!! LOVE MY LUMINESS AIR!!!!!

A Dress, of all Dresses...to me anyway

Ladies, did I tell you that I plan on getting married soon??? While the exact date and details are in the works, I find myself browsing the internet for deals, wedding ideals and so forth.

I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. This is a very personal experience that I chose to talk about in hopes of advice from past Brides.

We plan to have something small and with close Family and Friends. I can't justify spending thousands on a Wedding that can be put on a future House. So with that being said, I'm having a simple but elegant destination Wedding with the people I love . :)

I already have my Wedding Dress but I wanted to purchase something I can wear for the Reception. I found something that just caught my eye. I saw myself in this Dress, like I had these Goosebumps immediately!!

When I think about "That Day" I get a little emotional, I'm just so Happy!!!! I can't wait Ladies!!!!!

For those who are Married, any Wedding Decor or Wedding Planning Advice you can give????

I must lose 10 Pounds by June.... that's my Goal, I will explain why later :)

Walk into walgreens and found the new Wet N Wild 8 Pan Palettes at my reach! Yes!!!! I've been looking for these and finally I got a hold of them!!!!! woohoo!!!

For 5 Bucks each (hmm not bad) these Pigmented to the T, 8 pan Palettes are a steal of a deal!!!!! I know these will be circulating around Walgreens so be sure to check out your Walgreens and see if they have them in stock!

I wanted to share a Ulta goodie I found a while back that I happen to stumble across in the Clearance section of Ulta. I thought this Palette was a great find because it features....

10 Eyeshadow Quads
5 Gel Liners
18 Lip Colors

1 Light/Medium Pressed Powder
1 Bronzer
4 Tubes of Lip Glosses.

7 Make up Brushes (will never use em)

Now I call that a deal! When I went to check out and purchase this palette, the ladies of Ulta were like "where did you get this?" "Did you find this in the clearance section?" "Wow, I didn't even know that was there, you go girl! " LOL!!!! even the ladies at Ulta wanted it! You never know what you will find in the clearance section :)

Not bad for 10 bucks eh? It was originally 25, so saved a bit of money... Yay!!!!

There's a lot of pretty shades in this Kit. Came with so many products in this one case you can carry around! comes with straps and all.

Came with Brushes and 4 Eyeliners ....... to be honest the brushes are crap! Expected tho. All good because I have my own Brushes :)

I Miss: The 90's ...... it was just so fun!!! The Hip Hop was amazing!!! I miss good music!

I Fear: Hmmm, there's not a lot of thing's I fear but I would have to say not meeting goals. I could say I fear that. I'm a very determined person and set goals and standards for myself constantly. There's not one goals I have not met. I push myself because I feel that we(ourselves) know us better then anyone. It's best to push ourselves and keep people on their feet, and keep them guessing. To not meet a goal is not an option for me, through sweat and tears keep pushing!!!

Haul : Sigma Sigmax High Def Brushes.

Hey, Hey! Welcome back to my Blog!!! On the menu today! HAUL!!!!! that's right! I gather stuff I get through the week and share them here with all my Nerdettes! Today I wanna share the NEW Sigma Sigmax High Definition Brushes. I've been waiting to get these Trio. I was kinda hesitant because the last time I bought from Sigma I spent over 140 on a kit, and some of the brushes I just wasn't happy with. Now here at nerdyness.com I have standards. If I'm going to spend my money on a product I expect it to be superb. I can only give you my honest opinion on a product and and that I can promise you. I'm not into sugar coating anything.....not my thing. So with that said, I will be giving these 3 brushes a test drive for a couple of weeks and see how they do. I will report back with all information about these brushes. Now what I can say about these brushes in this haul post....

Each brush has Synthetic Sigmax HD Filament. (Magic you think??) it's designed to apply your powders and liquid make up without all the absorption. So in the end it's suppose to give your face this flawless High Def look! (wow, that sounds good to me) Excited to try them on my face!!!

First Impression

My package took a while to get to me. I ordered on the 20 and took 4 Days to process, I just got them today so it took a total of 7 Days. I have ordered in the past with sigma and received a package in 4 Days including processing so I was a little pulled back by that. I was informed that these we're a popular product and so I gave em a break. Over all packaged well.

All these Brushes came in their own packaging and protected well. I like that, seems like each one is gets a bit of attention.

In this Kit

Round Top Kabuki - F82 Small enough to get into those hard places like under eyes and nose... will it stand up to that? well see.
Angled Top Kabuki -F84- Shaped to help blend products on the cheek, great for cream, powder and liquid products.
Flat Top Kabuki -F80 (love) oh so popular brush is made to blend liquid,cream,and powders on to the skin and buff to a flawless finish.

Girls, these brushes are so , so, soft!!! I'm impressed by that! 42 Bucks isn't bad at all for these 3!

well see if they shed! that's what makes em or breaks them!! ( in my opinion anyway)

I promised myself I would find a system to organize my make up better this year. I'm doing just that, little by little. First off...... Here's the scoop on this, a client knocked it over on accident but all good it was fixable. This is my Smashbox Face/body Highlight Palette in Allure. Little alcohol, Mix it together let it sit and dry and Bam!!!!......

All Fixed!!! Once it dries, it goes back to the way it was. Now it wont look as smooth but it's all fixed :)

MAC ATTACK!!! Some of these things I picked up in Vegas. I need me some more mac!! Perhaps the WW Collection????

Physicians Formula gives you a Boost!

Yes! finally, after all the anticipation the Physicians Formula Blushes near to be found!! I've been trying to find these for the longest! I blame the magazine I saw them in!
These Mood Booster Powders are Blushes according to what it says on the Packaging are infused with a Happy Boost blend of Natural plant extracts that promote Happiness by mimicking the effect of endorphins and prevent the skin from stress ( hmmm really, let me get back to you on this because I want to see if it really does that.)

also each Powder/Blush comes smelling like the sweet scent of Violets. (ok, I have to say it did smell nice) but after a while of smelling it, it kinda made my nose hurt.

The great thing about these products, their free of those nasty Paraben and non-comedogenic and derm approved! which means it's good for your skin! I appreciate that because I just wont put anything on my skin...no way!!!! If this breaks me out by any means..... I'm telling!!!! ( LOL)

Anywho, I found these pretty little Make up Babies at Ulta. Shall we take a look...

First things first, The Glow and Mood Boosting Powders that I have are in Translucent and Light Bronzer. Each Powder had little Hearts of Color that Make your face Glow. The Pink in each Powder is suppose to give your face a natural pop of color. By looking at the Swatches below, each powder is not overwhelming in color so your face will have a Natural Glow to it.

The Blushes have a slight more pigmentation but not much as you can tell by the swatches.

These are not overly pigmented at all. I really think they weren't suppose to be. Each one is suppose to make your face glow with happiness and look Natural. If you looking for a truly pigmented product these aren't it. They will give you a slight hint of color on the face but no overly pigmented by any means.

You can find these at Ulta. The Powders are a little more expensive then the Blush. The Blushes are 10 and the Powders 15. Over all I like them. I will have to use them some more over time to actually give you in depth review, but I just wanted to swatch and show you gals :)

Let's see if they really make me wanna keep a smile on my face all day and snapping my fingers in a Wonderful mood LOL These might make great gifts for crabby people LOL???

Hola Mi Nerdettes....lol like that Spanish intro? lol Anywho, I wanted to do a different kind of post today. As I sit here sipping away on my Iced Coffee (of course lol) I wasn't thinking about doing a review, or make up look or fashion post. I wanted to do a little, get to know me post if you don't mind?

I LOVE Hip Hop!! I'm a Huge Hip Hop fan I tell ya! My Friends share the same interest as well. We're Big Hip hop Heads. We love rocking our Favorite Kicks, heading out to out favorite Hip hop spots and listening to the Dope Sounds of Mos Def, Q-tip Lupe, Common,Guru, Blackstar and more. I love that so much and rock all that 90's Hip Hop tracks! B Girl at Heart always!
Dance- I think my passion for Dance started when I was 6. My Mom would put my Twin sis and I in classes and just dance out little Hearts out. I have taken, Hip Hop Choreography, Ballet, Break Dance, and just about any class I could take. I swear I thought I was going to be this great Dancer someday, I would actually day dream about it LOL I would listen to tracks and Choreography would just play out in my head with every beat. Till this day I dance in the mirror practicing or free styling different techniques. LOL dorky?
Science- I'm a HUGE Science nerd! It was my favorite subject way back in school. I actually enjoyed everything about that class. I even joined a Science Club as well. LOL Nerdy right? I don't know, I never thought it was out of the ordinary. My love for science has lead me into my love for the medical field. reminds me ...when I was 12 I held my own science fair at home with the chemistry set I asked for X mas. :) My mom was my only Visitor and Judge but she supported me :)
Pranks- I LOVE THEM LOL... you should youtube them as well, that's where I get my ideals for people. It's all out of fun and a good laugh of course. Life is better when you laugh through it :)
J Lo Fan for ever! I love that Chick! Her Fashion sense and business drive is inspiring. Let's not forget she's a total Beauty. I loved when she way a Fly Girl! ooooweeee she was bad!!! Love her!!

Coastal Scents Black Sable Buffer Brush and more

Oh Nerdettes, I just had to do a post.... I just had to on the Coastal Scents Black Sable Buffer Brush. Why????

First, I would like to say being one who applies my Foundation with Bdellium Tools Foundation Brush (which I love) I wanted to experiment with using the CS Buffer Brush just to see how it applies my Foundation. To my surprise it applied my Foundation so well. I love how the Brush applied my Make up evenly and easily. It took less effort and time, now I'm loving that!

What's wonderful about this Brush is, I applied my foundation right on top of it and it didn't absorb the product which mean less product waste! Yay! I love how it have my skin this soft dewy finish. Kinda looks like air brush finish actually.

What I dislike about this Brush.....

Tho I like this brush there is one little problem. ...... IT STINKS!!!!!!!!!! The smell after you wash this brush is horrible. Sort of like a funky wet dog ;/ ugh! why!!!! it takes long to dry too. awwww I wish it wasn't so, but I like it besides all these other problems. Hold your breath and use it , is all I can say.

I just wanted to tell you all about my favorite Gloss! It's by Wet n Wild in Bronzed Berry! I love this Gloss! I've used it for years and it never fails me ever!!!! I love this color on me. I stocked up at walgreens because they were half off!!! Yay!!! I never want to run out!!

I love how it's not sticky, the color is really pretty and last long!!! LOVE!!!!! Try it Nerdettes!!!!

Wrapped and labeled nicely and secure, these products came packaged really well. When they arrived to my residence they came perfectly packed in the box with no cracks or breaks in the products. This is always a plus!

I've never tried Soy Candles before, but I was delighted to hear that Infinity Line Soy Candles have no harmful Chemicals in them. Yes!!!! Candles that are pure and good for the Air you breath in!

I lit the candle to test it out and I just love how the smell lingered. My whole house was filled with the sweet smell of Mango's! I really please to hear that Soy Candles last longer then Paraffin Wax so you get a bang for your Buck!!! I get annoyed by Candles that don't last very long, Soy Candles are the way to go! The Candles come in three different sizes, 5oz, 10 oz, 16 oz in a variety of scents true to smell. I tell you I'm in love with these candles and will be stocking up for more!!!!!

Not only are the Candles are amazing, the Soaps will blow you away as well. These handmade, hand cut soaps smell great, Irritant and chemical free so your skin will love this! The soaps lather extremely well, don't leave a grimy residue on the skin and leave the skin soft. I LOVE ME SOME GOOD SOAP!

Treasure Island-( Crisp Clean Scented Soap that smells really fresh)
Heartbreaker (Limited edition)- ( Fruity clean scent)

Hand made Products are very promising in my opinion, I love how natural they are, and make the product even sweeter!
All the ingredients are listed on the packing ,which means you know whats in your product that you purchased and there's no hidden ingredients.

I love the packing, so cute like a little Gift Box. The Soaps were secured in wax paper and packaged perfectly and labeled nicely. I'm a sucker for Awesome Presentation :) Very nice Infinity line!

Infinity Line Tart Melts:

The last two products that I had the opportunity to try are the Soy wax Tart Melts.

NOTE:
The Tart melts are actually oil burners BUT I used it under hot water and made my skin feel really moisturized. Because they're are Natural, I felt that it would irritate by skin so I went ahead and used it that way.

The two scents I tried are

Lavender - (True to smell, smells exactly like the delicate scent of lavender)
Birds of Paradise- (Tropical Fruity Vanilla Scented)

$3.00 per a Pack of 4 these awesome aromatic, moisturizing melts are breath taking. These melts come in a variety of true to smell scents that will leave you wanting more. . These Tart melts are great on the skin and the aftermath of the melts left my skin felt nice and soft! Soy wax based so you know they're pure.

these are for oiling burning which means you can put them in your favorite burner and leave a nice scent when melted, I like it as a soap tho. I guess up to you? You can used them for what they are intended for but I really like how they moisturize. :)

Over all, these Products were absolutely amazing. The Packaging was well put together, Shipping was fast and the Quality of the products blew my mind, perfectly put together. I love Homemade Products, you know what exactly is in them so no hidden ingredients. The scent lasted for hours on my skin and My Skin felt great after trying the Soaps and Melts. The Candles are wonderful as well.
I do NOT have any complaints at all! Everything I tried I was pleased with . I have sensitive skin and I did not have any issues with these products as far as the soaps go. I'm truly pleased, and would not kid you., these products are worth buying! Who doesn't love a good for your skin soap or a great long lasting candle???

Wet N Wild Coloricon Trios are all the new rave. I've been hearing about these trios all week long and wondered why I haven't heard about these trios. I had to stop into Walgreens and see these Trio babies.

Oh my eyes! Walgreens is having 50% of their Wet n Wild Products, so I picked up 6 Trios for about $1.50 Each . Score!!!!

Fitness, Haircut, sally Hansen and some Nutella

2011... I can't believe how time just flew, Jeez! I've been on this Fitness kick for the past 2 Years now. I think when you finally adjust into a Lifestyle you want it to work., epically if it's done so well for you.

I love to workout and do so when I can. I think it's easy to make excuses why you can't go, but if you really want it , you will train yourself to think Positively and remember that you're doing it for a better you.

Currently my fitness routine is run 5x a Week for 1 Hr. After a Period of time I'm going to vary it up with free weights, elliptical, and Step aerobics. I will add other Workouts of some sort but this is what I'm doing for now.

In the past, this method has worked. I dropped 35 pounds so while I'm not going hard core boot camp, I'm just trying to maintain my weight. I rely on working out for energy, it makes me feel great and energized.

I visit my Gym...every little bit counts. Now, I workout but when it comes to eating, I make minor adjustments but that doesn't mean give up the things/food I love. I like to snack here and there just in moderate amounts. My Favorite snack.........

Nutella and Apple Slices!!!! I love this Snack. omg!!! sooo gd!!!!

I Love the Sweetness of the Apples with a Spoon full of Nutella. It's Amazing! mmmmmm!!!! Yum!!!

I did my Nails again, using the Sally Hansen Kit!!! I'm in love with these kits I tell ya!!!!! So cute!

Easy to do Nerdettes!!

I also hooked up the Hair and got a Cut and Trim!!! I sooooo needed it. My Hair feels 10x better!

I'm in the middle of planning a b day party for 25 little kids!!! Made my own goodie bags!!! I love the craft store!

I received a Ulta Gift Card recently, so you know I had to make a stop into Ulta Stat! Hey, I love it there! As I browsed around looking what I can buy, knowing I want everything LOL This little NYX Palette caught my Eye.

NYX Matte Smokey Look One Night in Morocco Palette

This nifty little Palette consist of

8 Matte (some with a slight shimmer) Eyeshadow
Eyeshadow Base
4 Lip Colors

I think what caught my eye is the Packaging, because once I found out the Price of this Palette (15 Bucks) my mouth dropped! The heck! 15 for a small Palette, you must be nuts! ;/

I picked it up anyway, thank goodness for that gift card because I wouldn't drop my own money on such a small Palette when I can get a bigger one, you feel me?

While it is a cute palette, the Eyeshadow's are Pigmented so I guess it makes up for being kinda expensive!?

I love a Smokey Eye so I really wanna try this baby out. The Lips Colors I'm not so crazy about, not as pigmented as I would like them to be. The Eyeshadow base I'm not to impressed with, meh could be better.

Over all, nice little Palette , especially on the go. It's totally portable and the eyeshadows are real nice.

I will use it a little longer and let you all know how I feel in the Future. I say nice palette, drop the Price!

Nerdettes! Hope you all had a Wonderful Christmas! I had a great one, my Family has their Smiles on their face and I couldn't be happier. :)

The Snow here in Chicago is accumulating and Christmas is behind us, so a little Weekend recap is in order. In my Family we celebrate the Holidays 3 Day's in a Row 23, 24, and 25. That's 3 Day's of Gift giving and food galore! I had so much fun! The Laughter, Smiles and Family time was Amazing!

I received a lot of Awesome Gifts as well! Santa was good to me hehe :) I also did a few Makeovers on a couple of Ladies from the Hubs Family as requested! Now enough Chatting, lets get to the Pics!!!!!!!

On Thanksgiving, the Ladies of the Hubs Family requested Makeovers for this years Christmas Party.

Makeover!!!! Heck yeah!!!! So many girls to make over and OMG!!! it turned out great!!! No time to take pic's :/ I had to work on so many right away. I must tell you tho, they all came our Beautiful!!!!!! The Confidence level went through the roof!!!!! it made me so Happy!!!! Yay!!!! They Loved my Work!!! wooohoooo!!!!!!!!

Nothing like a chilly Night and cuddling on the couch with a nice Cup of Coco. I think the Holiday scream Hot Chocolate, don't you think? Sweet Marshmallows and the Sweet, Rich taste of Hot Chocolate on a Winters Night. Sounds so Holidayish, I love it!

Now Hot Coco is Perfect with an Awesome Mug, for me anyway. Now I have many Boring Mugs that really don't Motivate me to really Drink anything hot. I think right now you're probably wondering why they heck am I talking about Mugs?

I will tell you why my little pretty Nerdettes!   Today I received the most Awesome Gift from a Coworker.   As I opened my Mickey, Minnie Mouse Gift Bag I found something so Cute that was obviously from the Disney Store.

I was so excited to pull out the Cutest Mug I have ever received! It was Tink!!!!   I Love Tinkerbell! She's so cute and Stubborn haha!   wait, is someone trying to tell me something? LOL

I Love my Mug!!!!! As I sit here writing up this post, sipping Coco out of this Cute Mug, it makes me want more LOL   I think I'm going to turn into a Disney Mug Collector!!! How could I not!!!

Family, doesn't matter who your are or where you come from, Family is something we all have. I feel so fortunate to have the Family I was born into. I could not express enough how grateful I 'am to be apart of something so Special.

I have a Wonderful Mother who is my Rock, who battled Evil Cancer and Won. I Wish I could give her the World, God knows she deserves it.

I went to a Family Event Today that was so Breath taking, a Reunion like get together that was beyond amazing!

I love how my Family is so close, Cousins, Aunts, just about everyone. As we all stood in a circle and delivered are own Speeches to each other one at a time about who or what influenced us Positively this Year, I felt empowered and so fortunate. To be Rich with Love is all I can ask for.

Today, I just want to say I'm so Thankful with all my Heart and soul for my Family. I'm Blessed in every way and it's something I shall never take for granted. Positive influence effect those around you for the Good. Tell someone you love them today or a simple "Thank you" goes a long way.

Rich with Family Love. I couldn't ask for a better life, Blessed :)

Nerdettes, you have no ideal what all this Holiday Shopping is doing to me LOL I placed an Order from www.Coastalscents.com The other Day and placed an order for a few X mas Presents for my Family
(Bought some of the Ladies in my Family, Palettes and Brushes which make great Gifts :)
. Ok, so I bought a couple of things for myself as well......Can you blame me? They were having 20% Off so why not? I totally took a chance and bought the Smokey Eyeshadow Palette, Gel Liner in Wicked, and the Black Sable Buffer Brush for myself.

You know, I really thought this Palette was going to be bigger for some reason. It's real small. hmm I mean it's portable in a sense but the pic on the site is a little deceiving.

The Colors look very Vibrant, I just got this Palettes so I have to use it a whole lot more before I can give my full opinion. Little bit of a smell to the shadows but they're Vibrant,. Some have a Shimmer , some don't. I actually can't wait to come up wit some looks with this Palette!

Omg this Brush is sooooooo soft!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw this Gel Liner and I loved the Silver Shimmer it had given off. I'm totally going to use this as a Base. You can wear this as a Liner or a Base up to you Nerdettes!

I got this...... Smashbox Alluring Beauty Collection $14.99 @ Ulta

I tested out the Product at Ulta of course and really liked it. The Highlighter gave a nice Glow and I've been needing a Highlighter so I bought this one. Now whats great is the Pan its' Huge!!!( and size matters LOL stop playing) Which means you're going to have enough Product for a while! Yay!! It also came with a Lippie Gloss which I do like. So for $14.99 it wasn't bad. Loved it!!!! I suggest you get yours too, hehe enabler habit LOL

The Brush Set came with 3 Traveler Brushes and a Cute Gold Pouch.

Not bad for being Free. I love the Eyeliner Flat Brush!!!!! Ladies it's a good deal I tell ya!
